Possible Mosquito part ?

Another bit picked up at Hunsdon recently. Anyone know what it is? seems like some sort of hook.
Two serial numbers have ’98’ included that make me think Mossie.

Circle containing:

L R E U (in clockwise order)

R98316A on the alloy plate

Another very faded oval stamp containing
Possible 8 or letter B and figures 65
Out side of this stamp the figure 9

Here’s an image of the part in question on a Mosquito (specifically Tony Agar’s HJ711 at Elvington):

Blimey!
Amazing what you can pick up on an afternoon walk:)
I dont think it is good enough for use in a restoration, I will email them anyhow.
Many thanks HurriRV7

Looks just like the Machine Gun and Cannon door bay assembly latch that AVspec in N.Z. is after for their Mosquito.
