These pictures were posted today in discussion forum of the dreamlandresort.com site. The guy who took them had this to say when asked for details (these are his words, not mine):

“Sound: this is hard to describe. It didn’t have the familiar turbofan sound that you’d hear on an airliner, and it didn’t have that high pitched whistle of a fighter jet engine. It was more of a “rushing” sound, it had a low pitched “rumble” to it as it passed by. There was also a faint electrical type buzzing going on, maybe its just me and the way the sound was bouncing off things, but it was simliar to a transformer box. In my opinion the aircraft was VERY quiet for its size.
Camera: Nikon CoolPix (ah…the lack of quality kills me).
Size: I would have to ESTIMATE that it was about the size of a 747 or so.
Manuevers: more or less straight and level flight, it was banking slightly in one of the pictures as you can tell. The lights on the bottom were not your typical position/nav/rotating beacon lights. The two outboard lights had a reddish tint to them and were pulsating. The light up front was just on. “

As most of you probably know, dreamlandresort.com has a very good reputation for being mostly free of the UFO/wacko conspiracy types. Needless to say, the photos still need to be proven to be legitimate, but assuming they are, this is possibly a significant find.
I’ve attached the images. Does anyone care to guess what this aircraft might be?
