Found this on the PIK newsgroup http://groups.google.co.uk/group/free.uk.airports.prestwick and thought it may be of interest “Have heard from a reliable source that a designated area is going to be created for aircraft enthusiasts, thus enabling some of the other vantage points to be secured off.” Anyone else heard of this or is it just another rumour?

“The Mound” was talked about as being accessible last week when I was down for the Red Arrows.
Most people seemed to think it would be down to how the CIA are feeling on the day and whether or not Dubya actually flies in to PIK or he sends a stooge ? 😀
