I know that the British Pathe website has been mentioned before.

However – I wasted several enjoyable hours watching these wonderful films last night – so for those of you with the friday blues – follow these simple instructions and it will be home time before you know it.

Search: Farnborough air show

Watch the films chronologically from 1948 onwards to the mid 60s.

Footage of brabazon, meteor, V bombers, vampire, canberra, beverley, avro and fairey test aircraft etc..

The only question that will remain is where did it all go wrong for those plucky British aircraft designers?
