Post Your Favourite Picture (Or One Of Them) Here

After complimenting Spencer Flack by letter on his appearance at the Shoreham show in 1980 with G-FURY and G-FIRE, he was kind enough to send me an air-to-air of the former aircraft.

It is my all time favourite photo, particularly as it has a personal story for me. My thanks to Mark12 for technical assistance and advice.

That is one thing I do believe. 😉 Thanks for the nice pic of the Hind. It is one of my favourites from OW.

And a warbird shot which I also like a great deal. This was at last years proms. The Hind was busy air testing yesterday, and the Lysander was up today. It makes gardening so much more fun with activity from Shuttleworth!

Not a true “Flypast” subject, but one of my best pictures.

Steve. That is an awesome picture! There is something about the lines of a Seafire 47 – it’s mean. And what a great thought it is knowing that one is airworthy again in the world!

Some truly great stuff, gents…love the Bucc photo above, guessing it was JUST before a belly landing…I’ll throw in my own 2 cents with a photo I’ve posted before (I’m kinda limited on what I can post due to my scanner being broke), this is of the CAF P-40N over Hubbard Reservoir in Breckenridge, TX around 1995…best photo mission I’ve had yet.

MikeH, are those pictures yours? If so, i apologise for not crediting you for my avatar. They are fantastic shots! If you would like me to remove my avatar or credit it somehow, i will do.

Great pictures everybody.

Thanks for the comment Les. It was taken at the 1974 Battle of Britain display at Biggin Hill. Here’s another (analogue) pic fron the same display:

That’s a great shot of the lo Spit Mike, probably the best I’ve seen. And pre-digital I suspect. 😉
