An oldie that I found in my collection. A BEA DC-3.
They had a DC-3 up at Biggin Hill a few years back, which you were able to take a trip on over London, but it was not cheap, so I didn’t take up the offer. I think it was something in the region of £160 or something, for a 15? minute flight?
The Dc-3 was owned by South Dakota Airways. Was in good Nick though! 🙂
Anyways enjoy! 🙂

Hi Saab, and Banana! lol :p
G-DAKK, im not sure of its where about at present, perhaps someone else could fill us in?
As to the guy who owned South Coast airways, he is a present trying to set up another airline in connection with the Dutch Dakota Association using a Dutch Dakota which they have asked the Civil Aviation to re-register as British.

What is happening with the DC-3 now? Probably with a museum or a enthusiasts club?
Also, back by popular demand…

South Coast Airways, I remember them. They used to do pleasure flights from Bournemouth. Sad that they had to go under.

Are you sure it wasn’t South Coast Airways? If so a mate of mine used to fly it.
