Can you ‘log in’ successfully ?

If I am logged on and go into the general category – at bottom right on the screen I get

How does that compare with your page ?

If you go to top right on the home page there should be a ‘Register’ button – if you click on that you should just be able to register/join the forum.

It is a very friendly/helpful/polite forum.
