Has anyone tried to claim this back like all the adverts keep urging us to? Really not sure I’ve ever been miss-sold PPI, and I must admit to a few qualms about the “compensation culture” aspect, but on the other hand it’s largely the Banks’ fault we’re all in such a pickle now and any extra dosh would be more than welcome. Anyone have any thoughts or experience of it?

Not only PPI but interest on credit cards as well. This site is a real eye opener about the tricks and downright illegal tactics they use.
I belong and have got back £1700 so far of money I did not owe and I am fighting the Bank for nearly 25x that amount as well.
If its your money its not about “compensation culture” its about devious practice by banks to separate you from what is yours by whatever means they can.
Note: Do not use these PPI creeps that ring and drive you mad. It is simple to do this all yourself with the help of the skilled members of that forum
