PPL Confuser

I have recently started studying for Air Law. There seem to be many conflicting opinions about the PPL Confuser. Please could someone tell me whether the questions in the Confuser are actual exam questions from which the air law paper is drawn or rather exam “style” questions?

Good One!
I agree about the Confuser, great for showing your weaknesses

Just passed Air Law with 87%. The reality of the paper that I sat was that I would say the perhaps one third of the questions were identical, another third fairly similar, the remainder not similar to the Confuser questions. It would not be possible in my view to pass the exam just on knowledge of the Confuser alone – which is probably the way it should be. Having said that, the Confuser is an indespensible aid to revision.

I have just (re)done my air law using the AFE book and then the Confuser. The questions are similar in style but not exactly the same.
Tip: use the back of the paper to draw the pictures of aircraft with lights to help visualise collision risk/right of way and also any questions about taking off/landing at an airfield with no fixed runway (I answered AR*e about face on that one:( )

they are exam style questions, demonstrating the subjects that will be examined. Differences can be in the figures used, or even turning the question around. Best approach would be to use the confuser to discover your strengths and weaknesses in the different areas, and not to learn the answers by rote.

It was some years ago that I sat my PPL exams but all I will say is that if you get the PPL Confuser you will not regret it
