Well done, as others have said and you clearly appreciate this is when you start really learning. You WILL frighten yourself at some point. We all have.

Remember all accidents have more than one cause and so the more you check and the less you leave to chance the safer you will be.

Good luck too on the taildragging, the Cub is a wonderful aeroplane. Also think about joinging the PFA if you haven’t and possibly AOPA, both help keep people flying.

Most importantly HAVE FUN.

Not that far off getting G-EVLE flying now so if you see it (it is VERY red so you can’t miss it) come and say hello.

Well lucky you,

The word commonly used when one asks you about if you fly and wow that must be fun. Im sure luck has nothing to do with it and that you have worked very hard for your licence, I have re-booked today from 12:15 to 2:15 just for the reason that I hope the wind slacks and that by it doing so my instructor is more happy for me to do more solo work i the circuit, I really do love soloing in the circuit, great fun.

Im not to sure how long the CAA will take to send you back your licecnce, I think it could be a matter of weeks, you know what they are like.

Im going to do my FAA medical on Febuary 20th so I really do hope I check out, the dream of getting my hands on a 737 one day excites me, maybe im being to optamistic??? (For CPL)
For I know I will get a 2/3 medical so it wonT stop my doing the CFI course, and operating the honours of it. (Refer FAR 61)

Knowing my luck I will be six feet under before I get my licnece for the reason of constant bad weather, I tell you the weather is really starting to f************ me off at the moment.

Have fun, and if you ever need a safety pilot to smoke your cigars and do most of the flying, and log the hours and eat your packed lunch, Im your man.

Regards
