Tomorrow evening 29 October at 7.45 pm at the Film Theatre Stoke-on-Trent there will be films shown made by local filmmaker HJ Arundel of aircraft and airshows of the 1930’s including seaplanes at Southampton. Also there will be a showing of a 1936 documentary called Flight. The complete Vickers film of the 1931 Schneider Trophy Race which we won outright with RJ Mitchell’s S6 is viewed last. Arrive early as it is a small cinema and was full last week for a preview of Spitfire Dream a documentary on RJ Mitchell’s life.
