Prestwick, 12th March

A wee treat at PIK due to bad WX at GLA. We had Emirates T7 and Icelandair 757, as well as Eirjet A320 for Ryanair and Ryanair Cable & Wireless with winglets. Sorry for the quality of these, the weather was awfull!

Indeed, though apparantly the Dreamliner will be back in normal colours soon, like the Air Berlin version, which would explain why the winglets are in standard colours.

Yeah, I know that’s the real reason, but it still looks rubbish just now. 😉

Nice pics, how did PIK escape all the snow?!

Excellent shots! :).

Nice to see my favourite plane now has winglets! (Bloody Cable and Wireless ;)).

What’s more, they actually match the rest of the livery! 😉

I’d imagine it was on diversion from GLA.

Correct.

I didn’t think you would normally get an EK777 in PIK (unless I”m wrong), let alone the -300ER! Was EK the launch customer for said type?

I’d imagine it was on diversion from GLA. Air France was -300ER launch customer

Great selection, especially with the Evergreen 747’s wobbly landing :D.
