Prestwick Airport launches NEW website

Just had a look at the new Prestwick Airport website at http://www.gpia.co.uk/ and personally I don’t really like it but everyone has their own taste what do you think?

Do you like it or loathe it?

Could be worse, it could be that colour David Icke liked and sink nearby Arran as prophesised by the great sage (stooge).

LOL

Or the could have let Laurenc Llwellen Bowen at it. They’d end up with shagpile cowskin motive carpets going up the walls with deep red paintwork

I think so. I know so.

Its a strong colour and looks pretty good.

Don’t diss it till you’ve seen it. You’re summary judgements are beginning to annoy me.

I’ve seen purple wallpapers and walls loads of times, mate.
They’re all irritating to me, and they also look ugly. Unless it’s a light purple.

No, I mean the colours. Purple as the main colour of an airport? I think not.

Isn’t that just the best made up word in the World? They can use that with Wee Jimmy Crankie as a mascot and/or logo!!

The artwork looks like it was completed by Ralph Steadman?

Looks O.K., not the best though.

“Pure Dead Brilliant” is a colloquial term in the west.
Basically means Very good or Brilliant, go figure.. lol.

The phrase will make sense and appeal to PIKs target audience… the west side of Scotland.

Not pure dead brilliant in my opinion! As for the phrase “pure dead brilliant” – I think it will need a West-coaster to explain it properly. To me, it’s comical and reminiscent of Rab C. Nesbitt and co. It’s a particularly west coast of Scotland term. I think most Scots would p!sh themselves if they seen that! I did! 😀

Ah – but you miss the point, Spence.

It will appeal to “da yoof” and is, therefore, A Very Good Thing Indeed.
