Welcome back Roobs…..that’s one hell of a way to get out of doing DIY!!

He is however now very focussed on forum postings for a few months…!

And on the Princess, thanks TFC for the seasons we have had with her.

Hey, a new phrase to be trotted out endlessly:-
“Won’t it be at Legends?”
What say you BWB 😀

Like Pioneer Aero (N.Z.) P-40s 🙂

Dave

😀 I was trying to be subtle and not just say “a restoration carried out substantially in the UK” – there, I have said it now.

I hope the new owner takes her to Oshkosh as she would almost certainly be in line for an award. Its about time a major restoration not carried out exclusivley in the US was recognised at Airventure.

Can you elaborate? 😮

Just ordered a 1:72 Dicast model of her. Will sit nicely next to my Twilight Tear, No Guts, Big Beautiful doll, Ferocious Frankie and MH434.

Glad I just ordered my di-cast of it!

Indeed sad, however if the collection never changed over time I’m sure we’d all get bored, hopefully get to see her fly once more before she heads off….(naturally I am assuming that she is off)

TFC do a great job and I’m very much looking forward to seeing the Gladiator fly soon….well when it’s ready:p

Just part of the normal comings and goings at TFC, it was great to have it here for a while but if it’s true, then it’s going to a very good home.

Be a shame if it does move on. Having read aeroplane recently, i wonder whether this new scheme at duxford where all the working planes have to be In T2 and T3 have anything to do with it? Anyway they have a TF51, P40B, P47G and Spit XVIII on the way so who knows?
