I would like to be able to keep a record on paper of some of the interesting threads. However I find that I can only do this in landscape format, which doubles the amount of paper I use; if I try portrait format, the right side of the text gets clipped off.
Please can some expert here tell me how to configure my printer driver or whatever to allow me to print out in portrait format? I am using Windows 2000 and a Hewlett Packard deskjet 940c printer.
Perhaps I can modify the HTML source code? In other words, save the source code as a file, modify it (but how?), bring it up on the local (off-line) browser and print from there.
Any ideas?

Sorry, aj_march, that removes the photos, unfortunately, and it is often the photos I want, complete with the text. However, I have now found that if I set both right and left margins to zero, I get what I want. So now I’m happy, thanks for the tips!

I think you’re right, archieraf! Never noticed that function before! Thanks, now I’ll try it on a thread with photos and if that works, I’m up and running!
BTW it’s a wider right margin I need – to make the page narrower, but it works!

It could be as simple a job as adjusting your margins?
Try this:
1. While viewing the page you wish to print click on ‘File’ on the tool bar and select ‘Page Setup’ from the drop down menu.
2. Adjust your left and right margins to make your page wider then click ‘ok’
3. Going back to ‘File’ again, select ‘Print Preview’…….does it look ok on the screen? If so, try printing, it should be ok now. If it still looks like it’s cutting it off adjust margins further.
