Procedures of flying domestic routes in international airspace?

Hi.
A question came to my mind. Are there any special procedures when flying a domestic route (by domestic airlines) which pass in international airspace?

Some examples I can think of are Alaska Hawaii – rest of the US and from the Western part of India to the Eastern part (and vice versa), which using Bangladeshi air space. I’m sure there are a few more examples.

Any ideas?
