Proctor to fly

G-AHTE Mk V last flown in 61 is to take to the sky again. Project time is three years we hope, up dates will follow as restoration commences. Wants are a front seat and a pair of spats, other then these we have a complete airframe.
However out and about there must be Mk V pieces in store, what have you?
Any leads or offers of parts greatfully received.

Proctor HTE

Indeed fly she will. We are finalising details with a well known restoration company, and as soon as she is moved to their workshops, a news release will be made. The hope is that she will be a three year re build, the funds are in place, as is the commitment. Not sure yet what scheme she will appear in, looking at two options. First is Percivals turquoise fueslage and silver wings and elevator, with dark blue reg full span top and lower sides of wings, or we go for overall silver, with deep burgundy full span reg letters, and fueslage flash and reg to match. Both very period, and would work well!

Great news indeed – can’t be enough Proctors flying!

Vaguely remember it from way back and it’s fantastic that so much of it has survived the ravages of time in such apparently good condition.

Best wishes with the rebuild to airworthy status.

That’s a big model kit you’ve got there. Seriously though, good luck and I look forward to seeing it in the air.

Welcome to the madhouse (sorry, The Forum) Tango Charlie.

Great news about ‘HTE.

Can see from the photo there appears to have been recent work done on the rear fuselage/fin. Good luck with the project and hope you will be able to keep us informed of progress.

Roger Smith.
