Production Su-34

I was just browsing through this weeks’ Flight International magazine – and it had a news item – with a couple of photos – of the first two production Su-34’s just entering service with the 4th TsBPiPLS at Lipetsk.

They are numbered Red 01 & Red 02.

One of the photos – of Red 02 – said that this a/c had a bigger tail stinger – bigger than ‘normal’ – with some new ESM/RWR kit.

Unfortunately, the pic was too small to make out any visual changes.

Anyone have any more info ?? PiBu ??
