Professional Russian Military?

Ok, so I was sure there was already a topic about this somewhere but I couldn’t find it for some reason. So, I’m curious if anybody knows how the – erm – professionalisation (not a real word, I’m sure) of the military is progressing. I know that there were grandiose plans to complete this process by 2010, although I believe that the original deadline was a little earlier. So which services, units, regiments etc are already fully professional and which are in the process of becoming professional? And, finally, how will this affect the airforce? I believe that the ground support guys were (or still are?) conscripts – whats the situation now?

Anybody with any info on this? I would be most grateful.
