Propellor spinner identification

Hi. Can anybody tell me what aircraft or engines had a 4 cm/54e 4 bladed spinner fitted? I have aquired 2 and would like to trace their history. Thanks

I can’t seem to be able to load any photos from my phone but looking at a photo of a vickers viscount it is very similar and quite likely as I also picked up a huge spinner from a vickers viking from the same place. Shame about the photos as I have a cast alloy air scoop I need identifying also. It has BA37768 and A67754 in the casting. Would you have any idea about this?

Looking at your figures in the first post are the dimensions 40cm x 54cm long, saudiboyrick?

If they are, just off the top of my head, these dimensions sound like they approximate to a Dart engine/prop spinner. These were widely used on a variety of types, are four blade and there are a fair few about. See if you can take a pic to confirm – or otherwise.

Can you post a picture please. You seem to have duplicated this thread, saudiboyrick.
