If it’s the Colin Fitch I think it Is, his father flew Lancasters with 15 squadron (iirc!)

I am all for this, I have always imagined what it would be like to see planes lifting off from there again.

An interesting proposal and one that would bring Hatfield pretty much back full circle, given the airfield’s humble beginnings as a civilian club aerodrome. It’s not often we see new UK airfields opening up, especially on such a historic site.
