Some’s got it………..

Clearly a man with the right contacts and a keen nose – and, I suspect, the practical skills necessary to nurse ailing sailplanes back to a renewed aerial existence!

I have never paid more than £650 for a vintage glider.

Only one seat! The two-seat version is the Bijave.

Yes but tell me, where else can one acquire an airworthy two seat vintage aeroplane for less than £1700 (at today’s exchange rate)?

No thanks. It’s not built by SLingsby and therefore does not fit our collection 😀

I would love it. Flew them at Challes-les-Eaux in the 1970s. But my garden is too short to launch it.
