The only airworthy PT19 (we think) in the UK had its first post restoration flight on August 29th in the late evening, flying again on the 30th and many more times subsequently. These are pictures taken on the occasion of its first two flights. First public display should be at Old Warden on the 5th October but the weather may intervene.

It’s good to see one in the air. Pity there aren’t more about.
I saw one deteriorating in the weeds in upstate New York in 1982 (along with a AD-5W Skyraider). Too bad I didn’t have the resources to save it.

Congratulations… She looks fantastic. We are in the process of assembling the center section on our PT26… Seeing your PT19 take to the sky is a great motivator!
Where do you keep her? Would it be possible to come and see her some day?
