We had a visit by Putin and his entourage to Amsterdam this afternoon

I had about the same receipe for the IL76 Tenthije, 5 step ladder full length person ontop and camera on a monopod held above my head (the camera was about 5 meters above fieldlevel). Liveview screen facing down for the aming and selftimer for the release.
Perhaps my arms are a little longer.

How the hell did you make that last photo? I mean, having the plane totally free of clutter. I tried to make the same shot standing on a 5 step ladder with my camera on top of a tripod held above my head and was unable to get a clear shot! Did you rent a cherrypicker (hoogwerker) or something like that?

I like the rest of the shots as well. Unforunately I was at work so I did not see the invasion. Incredible to have so many planes for a 3 hour visit.
