Cool nice shots there and great website. What does it mean by that JT is ?

James

He’s an “Ambassador-at-Large” spreading the gospel about Qantas in his ex-Qantas 707 painted in the original sixties livery….He also has successfully completed 747-400 First Officer simulator training at the Qantas training base in Sydney

Anyone know what time it arrived? I looked out as much as possible from bmi business lounge which had a view of short finals of 28 but failed to see it. Unfortunetly I had to sit with back to window but looked round every few seconds. Ugh if only private flights would should up on arrivals boards!

Great pictures again Tony, you must have been in the field at the end of 24, hope you had your wellies on!

Still at least you did not have to put up some comments shouted out by an Air Livery Painter directed at the 30 odd spectators next to their facility. Something along the lines of “There are its gone now, you can all go and get back to your sad lives” charming in thought.

Irish aircraft enthusiasts had better take next Friday off work/school…
The Australians are now in rather a hurry to get home. Even Seattle will now be by-passed…

and here is some information from another forum as to when she is leaving

Thursday is a layday.

Friday is departure Southend to Dublin.

Depart Dublin Saturday possibly to Orlando or Tampa to meetup with Travolta’s 707.

Montrial has very poor weather forecast

Seattleno longer scheduled.

Pago instead of Nadi due to a coup.

Final destinations depend on noise restrictions, ground handling, performance

However that said this has also been posted: Southend-dublin-tenerife-orlando-washington-seattle

Take your pick but it looks like Friday will be the last chance to get your pics.

Canda is just one stop on a zig-zag pattern going home to Oz. Not sure about all the stops, but one at PAE or BFI is planned, along with JT’s 707. Something like a 13 day trip I think.
