Passengers on a Qantas flight received a nasty surprise when water stored for the toilets poured from around the overhead bins.
Flight QF25 was travelling from Melbourne to Los Angeles via Auckland
The plane was flying over the Pacific when the water pipe supplying the toilets began to leak… causing water to pour into the passenger cabin.
The Boeing 747-400 was diverted to Honolulu Airport where it was serviced while passengers waited for two hours.
The flight was delayed by five hours in total.

Ever seen the aftermath of a loose-joint on the forward toilet on the B737….ooh, the smell
Oh yes!
I once put my hand into a full toilet to release the flapper valve, with a “Sick sack” on as a glove! The Trolly dolly watching, was nearly sick!

on a TG A332 few years back, doing DEL-BKK there was a leak coming out of the overhead bins where i was sitting.
I complained to TG about 15 mins into the flight and was promptly shifted to Business.
