Crikey I’ve never been so freezing in all my life stood on top of T1 short stay car park. It was like Yakutsk up there ! Popped down for the Qatar B777 and to test two new lenses – Nikon 80-200mm and 28-300mm. Need to get used to the 80-200mm as it’s very heavy (all metal). All shots taken with that apart from the Qatar which I used the 28-300mm just in case it was too large for the 80-200mm ! Too much information I know so here are some shots…

Thanks for looking.

Have the titles on the TOM 767 in the distance really faded or is it a trick of the light?
If it’s the same 767 that I’ve seen recently, then it really is that faded!
Some great catches Culpano, lucky with the Libyan!

I salute you for being up on that carpark in this cold! I know how bad it gets up there. Great catch with the Qatar B773 Culpano. seems to be in a lot lately.

Even though its been around for a few years now, the length of the 777-300 is still remarkable. Reminds me of the first time I ever saw a DC8-61, a long time ago. Like the Libyan also.

Thanks. I only went for the Qatar but was delighted the Libyan was parked where it was – never seen it that side before and the light was surprisingly good for a dull day.
