Farewell to the F-4 Phantom! At the time of this video there were only 21 remaining F-4 Phantom’s in US Military service. Both aircraft had been converted into QF-4 target drones and were subsequently destroyed in the proceeding months.

Yea it’s unfortunate, but at least it’s going out in style and contributing to future military technology. Compare this to when the F-14s were retired 10 years ago, those were all sent directly to the crusher the prevent Iran from getting their hands on spare parts.
