Qantas will start nonstop services from Australia to Mumbai in India and Shanghai in China later this year.
The Mumbai services will operate three times a week from September 1 using 747-300s, and the airline is finalising plans to fly to Shanghai using 767s and/or A330s by the end of the year.

Yes Nalanji is still in its colours.
Qantas have 3 specially painted Aboriginal themes:
Wunala Boeing 747-438ER VH-OEJ
Nalanji Boeing 747-338 VH-EBU
Yananyi Boeing 737-838 VH-VXB

Looks like they plan on holding onto them for a while, then. One is still painted in Nalanji colours, no doubt. I flew on a QF 742 about 2 1/2 years ago, and the interior was pretty ragged.

Steve, any idea how many 743’s QF still have in service? Also, are the 742’s completely gone?
