Quality of PLAAF pilots?

Much discussion lately has centered around capabilities of the PLAAF J-10’s and Su-27’s/Su-30’s. (and to lesser degree the JF-17) How do they rank compare to the average Western Fighter Pilot? (included Japan and Tawian if you like?)
