To do with static dissipation I believe, nearly all if not all have the, just that BA hasn’t painted over them, others have it embedded 😀
Read about them online last year I think.Nice shots 🙂 I had a quick look through the guy’s other photos Dan but can’t see any mention of his equipment, so go on, what have you ordered? 😀

I got my 75-300 USM IS last Thursday for use with my 300D. Of course I then sat most of Thursday waiting for a bird or anything that moved, to shoot it! Got to test it out at the airshow on Saturday, some nice results, especially of the Red Arrows but a lot of poor results due to a dodgy photographer

Aha well I say the same equipment, but he’s actually using the 300D whereas I have ordered the 350D. Then the 75-300mm USM III lense. And as his is the 300D, the 350D should be a bit better.
