Dont know if its been covered before or not on here. I tried looking over some of the old scrap threads etc but couldnt find anything there. Might simply just not be searching for the right topic.
Anyhow heres the link to the video.
What and where if you know.

Thanks for posting, I found it very interesting. I thought at exactly 2 minutes into the film that we were looking at a Tempest seat from the back? Probably wrong!

Thanks AM,
The point is I had no real idea what the search terms were so I did try but come to think of it I probably posted on that thread some time ago. Details seem to be coming back to me.
Fighterace,
No intention of digging mate I just saw it and thought interesting. Not my part of the world either.
Mods please feel free to delete this thread if it is duplicating another.
Or no need for anyone to comment further just let it die.

Yes know the field where that was dug from, quite a few dumps around aston down area. There is still more buried there too but forget digging it as the locals are going mad about large quantities of Asbestos buried! Think you will find that was one of the reasons why no more digging has been done there.
Mostly junk buried anyway, the best stuff was from the gravel pits……

It’s been covered on the forum a few times. The details will be revealed (if the search function now works?).:)

yip pretty much shows what this stuff is like but unless you go find it you would never know.
Some nice finds still come out the ground. I found a brass plate recently and although it is fairly common the condition was amazing.

Well if nothing else I guess it serves to demonstrate the sort of state that most of the elusive burried hordes of ww2 gear must be in, that video could be 20 years old as well….
