Query for anyone at MAN yesterday

I arrived back from LCY yesterday afternoon on Rwy 06R at 15.30, and as we passed the start of Rwy 06L I think I spotted out of the corner of my eye a Rockwell Commander, but I couldn’t get a proper look, was there anybody in the viewing park at that time that can confirm this? I have never seen a Commander in the UK before so thought it unusual, although somebody will probably now tell me that it is based at MAN LOL!

LOL, no, I think I know enough about planes to distinguish an Islander from a Commander, and had I been able to see the aircraft properly (ie without a VLM engine in the way) I would have known for definite.

Anyway Grey, thanks, that gives me my answer.

There was a Rockwell Commander in MAN yesterday.

A Mexican one – XC-HAB, in fact. 😀
