Sorry if I’m repeating already a question asked but I did not found it….
Can someone tell me what is the progress for this project of upgrading radars for the ANZAC Frigates???
ANZAC radar upgrade advances
Australia’s CEA Technologies is continuing to progress engineering development of the CEAFAR-active phased-array radar -system for the Anti-Ship Missile Defence (ASMD) upgrade of the Royal Australian Navy’s (RAN’s) eight ANZAC-class frigates. The Australian Department of Defence (DoD) confirmed selection of the CEAFAR E/F-band phased-array radar and associated CEAMOUNT I/J-band missile illuminator for the ASMD upgrade (under Project SEA 1448) in September 2005. This endorsement followed successful land-based and shipborne trials of CEAFAR.Project SEA 1448 is designed to ensure that the RAN’s ANZAC frigates are equipped to defend themselves against modern anti-ship missile threats.

Is it still on the table for implementation, or as the selection of the AWDs with AEGIS had some impact?
Thanks in advance
