Question About China's SD-10

Could someone post some info on this missile for me?

From what I’ve been reading lately, China has turned down Russia’s Zhemchug and Isreali EL/M 2035 radars, in favor of the indigenous 1473/KLJ3 for the J-10. The only reason I could think of for them doing that is their confidence in the SD-10. It’s not like China is being forced to accept the 1473.

Also from the Richard Fisher article. The Sukhoi officals had offer to upgrade all of China’s standard Su-27sk to the R-77 models. Again China turned this down, opting for an all indigeous J-11. I’ve never known the Chinese leadership to take risk on a new venture. I would love to find out more info on this missile.
