Question on Canard Flankers and vortexes

Most canard aircraft tend to have a single vertical stabiliser to avoid being damaged by the vortexes that are channeled by the canards.

I was wondering if canard flankers receive damage to their twin tails as they seem to be within the way of the vortexes.

Further more, is the current trend among the later Sukhoi designs is moving away from vectoring thrust and canards? or at least with the Su-35BM
