Question re spotting at Manchester

I went to Manchester a couple times last year to some of the ‘unofficial’ spots, one of which was the public footpath that goes down the side of the runway.
I originally managed to park in the small lane off the island by the runway that goes to the Holiday Inn.

Can anyone tell me if you can still park in that area?
I know when I last went most of that slip road had double yellow lines except for the small narrow lane part.
Thinking of going up later this week but long journey if I cannot park!
