Question to airline pilots

In my area, i sometimes get atc voices over the radio… Problem is the affected radio stations are between 103 and 106 MHz… So, FM.

Is that possible? And if so, by which phenomena, as I doubt you use those frequencies ?

Hi Frank, we use nav radios using VHF frequencies between 108and 117.9 and comms equipment from 118 to 133.9.

I believe what you are hearing is a harmonic of one of these frequencies.
