Questions About the Hun

ACIG was down when I tried this originally, and if you talk about anything that has a jet engine on the flypast forum you get shunned so this was kinda my last resort…..

We happen to have any Hun experts around here?

I’m curious about why it’s so hard to find F-100F’s armed with Shrikes in photos.

I know that 7 or maybe 9 F-100F’s were used for the Wild Weasel I mission in Vietnam, but I can’t for the life of me find a picture of a Hun with a Shrike. Anyone have any?

Also, this is for anyone who might know……I know the F-100D had seven hardpoints, but the centerline was only used for nukes. Of those six remaining I know the inboard pair could carry TER’s for bombs. What about rockets though? Could those be carried on TER’s as I’ve seen on other jets?

Also, does anyone happen to know the relative weights each hardpoint was stressed for? I’m particularly interested in the outboard hardpoints. How much could each hold?
