Sorry, thought so. Nice info there, and I really like the True Supersonics site you listed as a source. Some REALLY good pics of Russian missiles there.

I guess they gave up on it at some point. I doubt Russia would take 20 yrs to develop such a system.
It is offered for export right now. Is included in Russia’s Arms 2001-2002 along with the Bereg Self propelled gun coastal artillery system (a 130mm gun) and the Redut coastal defence missile system. Includes pics of a missile launch.

The Bal has been in development since April 1984 alongside the air-launched Kh-35 (AS-20) and ship-launched SS-N-25 anti-ship missiles. The missile is built mainly of aluminium and has folding wings and tail fins. Its ARGS-35 active radar seeker has been developed by Leninets. The Bal cruises at an altitude of 5-10 meters, reducing to 3-5 meters during the terminal phase, and it can sink ships of up to 5,000 tons displacement. The launch vehicle carries eight missile tubes and a command post that houses the crew of six. The transporter/reloader vehicle has six reloads with a 9 ton crane and a crew of two. The combat control vehicle has an acquisition radar in the rear, a crew compartment in the middle, and an equipment compartment in the forward part. Two control vehicles can use their radars in a passive mode to detect targets. All vehicles are based on the MAZ-543M 8×8 truck chassis and equipped with gas-turbine generators for power supply.
