LFEQ and its small runway

A great place to go, been many a time had some club trips there as well.

All the best and a safe weekend.

All who do go from the U.K. remember it is a small hard runway the end of the runway is there to land on.
LDA RWY 12 2133 Feet (Has displased threshold)
LDA RWY 30 2461 Feet
Unless these figures have changed so before you go check it out in the books ,there is enough runway for the likes of singles and some light twins so all who go have a great and safe time.
Whis I could make it.

Hi guys,

Saw ‘Quiberon’ in the thread title on front page and came in for a look… I stayed in a little campsite bang slap across the road from the entrance to Quiberon airfield in 1982 and absolutely loved the town and surrounding area.

I used to sit on the beach at the end of the runway watching the comings and goings, and played table football in the airfield cafe’.

Great memories of a great trip, I’d advise all to visit Quiberon, and I must get back there sometime soon…

Wecome to the Forum Pierre!

I have visited Quiberon on a number of occasions, in a variety of light aircraft, and have always enjoyed the experience. A delightful destination.
