I have not been on here for ages, sorry! Life does that to you sometimes 😀Â
However there has been a huge amount going on at our Museum (Formerly Australian National Aviation Museum, now Moorabbin Air Museum)
I’ll leave that for a separate post, but in the meantime, one of our members and his mate did a quick drone sweep inside the hangar on Friday before opening times (we can’t do outside as it’s on an active airport) but it’s a unique opportunity to see many of our aircraft from different angles – including DAP Beaufighter, DAP / Bristol Beaufort Cockpit, Fairey Firefly, DH Sea Venom, GAF Mirage IIIO, BA Swallow, DH60 Gipsy Moth – the incredibly rare and unique BE2 wings (110 years old) and more.Â
Please enjoy the video and feel free to share with anyone who may enjoy a look around our hangar from afarÂ

What a unique way to see the exhibits. As a drone pilot myself, I have to say that’s some pretty impressive drone flying!!
Thanks for sharing.

That’s actually one of two large wing sections of a Martin Mariner in our collection 🙂 Unique as there were only 12 here…

Great footage, will have to pay a visit one day.
What’s the wing section at 0:40? (Olive Drab with RAF SEAC roundel) Is it B24?
