Quick Growler Question

So, reading through info on the Growler I noticed something a bit odd. As the AIM-9 rails on the wingtips were used to house EW components has the Growler no capability to carry the Sidewinder?

It does have the ability to carry the AIM-120C coupled to its APG-79, but no where mentions if the aircraft can carry the simple, old Sidewinder. I ask because it seems everything from MiGs to P-3’s can carry carry it, why would the Growler not be wired for it. (I realize that air-air combat is not it’s primary mission)
