Watch your altitude even more carefully when coming into Punta Raisi at Palermo on ILS. It can land you in the ‘drink’!
I found the other day on my second attempt to land after going missed that I had to switch to manual control when about 10 miles out.
It’s not the easiest runway in the world to land a jet on anyway, so be warned.
