[updated:LAST EDITED ON 02-12-02 AT 05:23 AM (GMT)]Andrew, China Eastern as a company was formed in 1987, so are you asking as a company or when they first flew?.
About China Eastern Airlines
Established in 1987, China Eastern Airlines is one of the three largest airlines in China under the control of the Civil Aviation Administration of China. Based in Shanghai, the company has progressively transformed from a local airline into a global conglomerate, operating a wide variety of travel-related businesses ranging from tourism, hospitality and cargo services to aircraft catering and facilities manufacturing. CEA is listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, The Shanghai Securities Exchange and The New York Stock Exchange

Q5 (number 1) – Haven’t a clue (deeply embarassed!)
Q5 (number 2) – Garuda Indonesia
Q8 – B757-300
Q9 – 18
Q10 – nearly Royal Brunei Airlines (but 1 o too many and missing an e)

RE: Quiz for the weekend.
Not very good at these….
5 Garuda Indonesian
6 Aeroflot?
7 4X-
8 Boeing 757
9 18
I don’t think you’ve got the hang of anagrams. You’re supposed to jumble the proper names into other proper words. Mind you, I can’t get number 10…. Told you I was no good at these.
