Steve’s asked me* to ask anyone who met him on this trip to the UK to post their favourite Steve P ‘bon mot’ . Something along the lines of Veni Vidi Vici (I came, I saw, they took the Hurri of me at the airport). He’s got the postcards to show the wife, (thanks folks, most illuminating) – he’s got the 2billion pics to take home, but he mislaid the notebook with all his best phrases, statements and wit (yes really).
You won’t let him down, will you? Could be a T-shirt in it for you…
Cheers
*he hasn’t, but let’s pretend…

“That’s enough tea, let’s go see some more old airplanes.”
I’m adopting that one. You can try it too. However your day goes, just re-routing it with the phrase “That’s enough of that, let’s go see some more old aeroplanes.” and acting on the phrase makes most workdays better. And your colleagues won’t have to put up with you as the clock ticks to 5.00pm, as you’ll be at an airfield! An all round win.

After paying for two Sunblest sandwiches and six cups of Coffee in Cambridge last Tuesday.
“Well, I’ll tell you what, that’s the best twenty one Pounds I’ve spent this holiday”
Sorry about that Steve.
I’ll pay next time but we’ll go to the Cafe near the bus station.

Don’t take any notice, these T-shirts are a myth.
I was promised one if I turned up at Old Warden so I drive 2 hours each way…
