Hi All, I have added a Fatigue meter to my collection of bits and wondered if anybody could help with a few questions I have. It is a R.A.E Fatigue meter MkII, Ref. 6A/6485 Serial No. 731/M/62 and I am told it was from a Comet. I also have the air speed switch mounted on a panel that says Type 1578 B. Wireless telegraph Co and many words now unreadable. What I would like to know is approx. what year this would be from and what the Type 1578 panel is? Hope somebody can help with this and any other info about these

Hello all, I know this is reviving a years-old thread, but I am also looking for information on an M 1946 type fatigue meter manufactured by Mechanism. I’d be interested in any information available, including setup, operational, maintenance, other documents.
Thanks much,
Stephan

If it is any help the fatigue meter was manufactured by Mechanism, which is now part of Meggit. M1946 is listed in their CMM listing.

The fatigue meter is a Mk 11, part number M.1946.
The section reference number is 6A/6485 and NSN is 6610-99-1082470
Fitted to the Andover, that’s all I have.

I have some info on fatigue meters, if you need it, email me if you do. However I do not know anything of the panel or that particular airspeed switch.
