Any one going to Kemble Sunday should be a cracking show 🙂 🙂

In which case, forget the brolly – bring splenty of anti-sun slop!
On second thoughts – bring a brolly & tent – but make sure there’s plenty of anti-sun slop to buy at extremely exhorbitant prices.
That way we’ll be guaranteed good weather.

Wish Glen all the luck with the weather which is the one thing out of his control.

Are the Swiss duo still coming?
Are the Red Arrows Gnats from North Weald coming?

Re traffic at Kemble, have NEVER had a problem getting in or out with all traffic flowing well! Absolute dream of an air show to attend for the motorist, photographer and enthusiast alike. Wish Glen all the luck with the weather which is the one thing out of his control.
P.S. Has the Gannet arrived yet?

G-VETA still sings the blue note then 🙂

We have a new site layout this year which should please most people. Hope you like it?
From what I’ve heard it’ll be good for the public and the photogs, not so good for the line crew, although I’ll reserve judgement on that till I’ve seen the line in action.
By the way, Glen, have you heard, VETA has finally airtested!! So an she be included in the flypro now, please??
Dees
Yes, saw her yesterday being thrown around a bit by Cubes. Full air test, no snags…………gotta take my hat off to Delta again and that sound she makes is awesome.
Could be an interesting finale with all Hunters now serviceable and the question mark almost lifted from Miss D?

I noticed when I passed by on Friday that there scrapping a 747 there at the moment, do they need a hand? Perhaps we could have a give us a fiver and you take what you can carry type of thing 😉

I ‘m gonna need it…………………..
It’ll be alright on the day mate. In any case, Kemble is a nicer place to be stuck in a queue. 😉

I ‘m gonna need it…………………..
Nah, we’ll be alright, you have a great team behind you, just look at what we managed in one day on Saturday, compared to last year which took 3 days!!!!!!! Now that’s progressing and team work!! 😎

Good luck 😀
I ‘m gonna need it…………………..
Gates will open at 0900L
By: Manonthefence - 14th June 2004 at 18:44
Glen, thanks for that. At least you have plenty of on airfield storage space.
What time do they open. Good luck 😀

I will be their, please note, the organisers are only opening one entry point at the moment and that’s through the main gate, so get their early, although we don’t seem to have that much trouble with traffic.
I wish you would’nt say things like that Nige, I just hope that we do not get the problems that Cosford & Duxford have experienced lately. There will always be some people that get held up in the queues and you just try to do the best you can.
All entrance will be via the Main Gate at the Security Lodge. As G-CVIX will be occuping Gate 12, there will only be one entry point. We have a new site layout this year which should please most people. Hope you like it?

I think the Police are the culprits – mostly – on reflection. Sack ’em all – I say.
By: Manonthefence - 14th June 2004 at 18:29
Is that the main gate by the guard house or the “new” main gate as used by people arriving from Kemble last year? (By the Rapid Racking Hangar)
Is it me or are Airshow organisers determined to have us queue up this year?
By: coanda - 14th June 2004 at 18:14
i’ll be there!!
