R.I.P Howard Pardue

I have just heard this very sad news indeed, a great loss to the worldwide Warbird community.

It was a great privledge to witness Howard display’s on several occasions, Wildcat at DX, Bearcat at Reno and a ISS Fury at Breckenridge. Howard would often display to Music from Phantom of the Opera which he loved 🙂

When ever I see Stephen Grey flying his ‘Joker’ routine at the end of Flying Legends I always think of Howard!

That is very sad. An amazing pilot and a maestro in his Bearcat

Sad news, Always seen him as one of the greats who brought Warbirds to a wide audience.

Tragic news. Reports suggest an accident just after takeoff in his Bearcat at Breckenridge this afternoon. 🙁

Thats sad news. Always thought of him as ‘Mr Wildcat’, on account that he always seemed to be associated with the type.
