RAAF Museum

Is anyone out able to provide photgraphs of some of the stored aircraft that the RAAF musuem has in its position? I know there are many but some have just disapered?

some that id like to see again or on display are:

CAC mustang A68-137?
Netune A89-275
the jet provest A99-001
Hudson project
Spitfire project
Kittyhawk project
Beaufighter project

and the countless outhers hidden away.

God I wish the RAAF would provide the museum with some more funding for display hangers to cover the C-130s, Bristol Freighter, and HS-748.

I’m afraid I can’t help. For reasons I’ve had explained, but that I’d rather not go into on a public forum, but make sense to me, there’s no listing or data on the aircraft not on show that’s reliable that I’m aware of.

What is in the public domain is shown on the website: http://www.raafmuseum.com.au/

It would be nice, indeed. I can add that the HS-748 and later-model Herc are both fully ‘cocooned’ while the A model Herc is used as a tour item for school-groups. The Freighter is regularly cleaned and I believe is due for a partial repaint, so efforts are made to look after the items, within limits.
